Getting Travel Ready with Walgreens!

I’m so excited because I leave for DISNEY WORLD on Friday! I have been so busy getting ready for the trip… And I have so much left to do! What is it about going out of town that makes me feel like I need to get all new toiletries?!

We are going to celebrate my sister-in-law’s Bachelorette weekend and I’m while I’m so excited, I’m also kind of nervous since it will be the longest I’ve been away from Bryant since he was born! I’m trying to soak in all the snuggles and not waste my time being stressed. And that’s where Walgreens comes in!

I love Walgreens because they are hardly EVER out of what I need and it’s so much quicker to run in there than into one of the bigger stores in town…

They are also always having great sales on things like makeup and skin care, and I absolutely LOVE their rewards program! You earn actual money you can spend in the store! I always like to save mine up and then on a “shopping spree”… It makes you feel like it’s free money!

Today I’m sharing some of Walgreen’s recent promotions, as well as some of my favorite products from Walgreens!

Some links may be affiliate links, which means I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.

One more thing… When we get back from our trip, I’m sure I will have a ton of photos I will want to print and keep forever! I will probably print a mix of photos and maybe even do a photo book! I love photo books, because it’s such an easy way to keep all my memories in one place and I can go back to look any time I want! Walgreens is great because they offer same day pick up… That’s so nice when you are impatient like me! : )

A Perfect Fall Afternoon

After we thawed out Saturday morning, we packed up and headed into Dahlonega to do a little shopping and exploring. The weather could not have been more perfect. The sky was so blue, and it felt so good in the sunshine.

I absolutely love this little mountain town. The square is so cute and fun!

Our first stop was The Fudge Factory, which I absolutely love. We bought some peanut brittle and some homemade peanut butter cups. They were to die for!

After satisfiying our sweet tooth, we headed out to shop. My absolute favorite place in Dahlonega is this little shop called The Humble Candle. They have lots of candles, of course, but they also have gifts and home decor.  The boys checked out the vintage music store, and we all tried some exotic jerky. All in all, I'd call it a successful day!

When we left Dahlonega, we stopped at a park to have a picnic lunch. This was such a nice place!

After we finished our sandwiches and packed everything back up, the boys skipped rocks on the little creek.

And of course we had a mini-photo shoot...

The last leg of our Framping trip was Uncle Shuck's corn maze. This is the 4th year we have gone! The corn was pretty much all dead, which made it kind of creepy... But it was super fun!

Our last stop on the way home was Jim'N Nick's Bar-B-Que. I hadn't eaten here in years, and it was delicious! The 6 of us got this platter to split, and it was awesome!

Camping in the Smokies: Wednesday

312 No rain Tuesday night, which meant we got a good night's rest! We slept a little later and just relaxed before it was time to start packing everything up.

My favorite part of our tent was the "porch" on it. It was just a nice little area to sit and listen to the creek.

I really hated to leave. I could have stayed for the rest of the week. It was wonderful! I seriously cannot wait to go camping again!

On the way home we stopped at the coolest salvage shop ever. It was full of old doors, old windows, nick nacks, antiques, etc. It was just so cool! We had no room in our car, so I didn't get to buy anything unfortunately, but this is definitely a place I want to go back.

The last place we stopped was a restaurant in Cleveland, Georgia called Fromage. It. Was. Amazing. Their lunch menu was full of unique sandwiches and neither of ours disappointed!

B ordered the Banh Mi which was Pork Belly on a French roll, and I ordered the Roast Beef & Butternut Squash on Sourdough. Of course, we tried each others' : ) On the side we got cous cous salad, which was strangely good.

Now, I am sitting at home, catching up on our DVR and blogging. I love traveling, but I sure do love coming home, too. Anywhere with my B is my favorite place to be!
