Fall Transitional Pieces from Walmart

Even though it’s still 98 degrees here in Georgia, when I saw all the new fall clothes at WalMart I just couldn’t resist! All the fall colors and flowy fabrics just got me so excited!

I grabbed a few pieces that can be worn both now and later, which I think is great when you live in a place with crazy weather like we have… So, if you’re craving fall fashion, check out my favorite pieces below!

This dress is so perfect for fall. The colors are beautiful and I love the detail of the embroidery! I paired it with my favorite espadrilles, but it would be so cute with sandals or booties. As it gets cooler, you could pair it with leggings & boots for a cozier style.

The dress is available in 3 other prints, including leopard!

I think this top is so darling! I love the tiered design and the mustard color is SO fall. You could wear this with jeans & wedges like I did here, but I think it would work with shorts & sandals too! Such a cute top and it comes in 3 other colors, including denim.

This is my absolute favorite top from my little haul. I LOVE the pattern and the asymmetrical cut. It’s just so stylish and simple. All the right colors for fall! It pairs perfectly with these jeans & booties, but I think it would be great with denim shorts on the warmer days! It comes in 3 other designs, so lots of variety to choose from!

This entire outfit is from WalMart and I don’t think it could be more perfect. The lavender color of the top is just so different than anything I have in my closet currently, and I was really drawn to it! It comes in 3 other colors, including a stunning shade of teal! I’ll definitely be going back for that one.

These jeans have been a staple all summer. I can’t recommend them enough!

And these booties… I die. They are so comfortable and come in 2 other colors! And at less than $15, you could just get all 3 :)

My Favorite Drugstore Beauty Products

With all the traveling I have been doing this summer, it seems like all I do is pack and unpack my suitcase. I love being busy, but I get stressed out when I’m trying to remember what I need for each trip! Today I’m actually getting ready to go to youth camp with our church, and I had to run to the stores to get some essentials… I thought I would take some time today to share my favorite drugstore makeup and beauty products!

What do I mean when I say Drugstore Products?

All I mean by “drugstore” is affordable (Less than $20) and readily available at your local drugstore (Walgreens, CVS, etc) or superstore (Walmart, Target, etc).

Of course, I love a good high end product, and I will splurge when something is really worth it! I may do a post on my favorite luxury products soon, but today we are focused on Budget Friendly.

Face Products

Drugstore foundations have come a LONG way since I was younger! I used to be such a snob until I decided to branch out and try some new things. These are all definitely “go to” products for me and I almost always have them in my makeup drawer!

Blushes/Bronzes & Powders

I’m a big fan of finding affordable brands for these types of products because I go through them like crazy! I love blush and bronzer and use them year round… I am also very oily so I go through power pretty quickly too!

Eye Products

Ok, I will admit, I am an eyeshadow SNOB. I very rarely use anything but high end eyeshadows — DON’T JUDGE ME. But the rest of these products are awesome, especially for the price!

Lip Products

Lip products are one thing that I very rarely buy high end. I just buy so much lipstick and go through it so quickly, it doesn’t really make sense to buy a $30 lipstick… These products have truly stood the test of time!

Hair & Skin

These 5 products I have literally been using for YEARS. I have tried other products and just cannot find anything comparable. These will go with me to the grave.

I hope this is helpful for any of you looking for some affordable beauty buys! Each of the pictures is linked to the product, if you’re interested in buying anything I’ve shared. I’m going to do another post with my favorite makeup brushes soon, so stay tuned for that!

June Favorites

This month went by so fast! We had such a great beginning to our summer and I can’t believe how much Bryant is changing every day. I haven’t had a lot of time to shop and look for new products, but I have found a few good ones that I wanted to share! Some are products I personally love and some of things I use with Bryant. I hope some of these work for y’all! Let me know if you find anything you love too! : )

Tinted Moisturizer

My typical “holy grail” foundation is Estee Lauder’s Double Wear. I love that foundation and use it almost daily! But, during the summer, especially when I’m just running errands or even going to be outside in the heat, I like to use something a little more light weight (and less expensive).

I have tried a lot of tinted moisturizers, but I recently tried this new one from Avon and I love it! It’s buildable coverage, which I really like so I can customize my look based on the occasion. When I get sweaty in the Georgia heat, I don’t feel like it’s caked on my face either, which is a definitely plus this time of year.

Aviator Sunglasses

I love aviator sunglasses because I feel like they look best on my (big) head/face, but I lose sunglasses almost every time I get a new pair, so I wanted to find some that were cheap but also looked good. I found these on Amazon and I absolutely love them! I got them in brown and black, and they also come with a little case. Definitely great to keep in your bag or your car, and if you lose them, you’re not gonna beat yourself up over it!

Setting Powder

I usually don’t set my foundation with powder because I don’t like a super matte look, but in the summer when I’m sweating like a bodybuilder, a girls gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. I use this on top of full coverage foundation, tinted moisturizer and sometimes even on a bare face when I’m feeling extra greasy. This powder is super cheap and really good quality for a drugstore brand. I’ve used it for years!

Wool Dryer Balls

I was actually gifted these for Christmas and held off on using them for a while, mainly because I didn’t get it? But I’ve been using them for about 2 months now and I think they really do make a difference! I notice our clothes dry faster and they are a great replacement for dryer sheets! I spray them with essential oils sometimes, which I love since we use unscented detergent.

Baby Favorites

Included in this list are my favorite products for feeding Bryant both at home and on the go! Also included are our favorite teething ring and the sun hat we use when Bryant is swimming! The hat is our favorite because of the ear flaps and the fact that it ties around his neck, so I don’t have to chase it around the pool.
