I've been helping at my church for the past few months, getting ready for the start of our Baseball and Softball Programs. We have over 400 kids playing this year and it is an absolute joy to work with this ministry! God has just worked the program out and allowed it to grow so much since it began in 2010. (More information here: http://www.northsidebaptistsports.com) We had evaluations last Saturday, but we had brunch beforehand. We ate at the Local Yolkal Cafe, which is one of my favorites! You can read my official review here.
I got the short stack with hash browns and bacon. Their pancakes are amazing! They are thin and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness. I absolutely love their storefront. It just looks so cute and welcoming!
It was an absolutely perfect day to be outside. It was a little chilly, but the sun was out so I couldn't complain!
After we finished, we all went out to eat after. I was starving, because I had been on my feet pretty much all day!
I ate a small Caesar Salad and 1 slice of the Kosmic Karma Pizza. It has spinach, feta, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto. I had no idea about points, but I felt like I earned at least one slice : )
