A Busy Friday

My sister came to town on Thursday night, so we spent the morning together before I went to work! (I'm doing some office work in my church office through February due to our Baseball/Softball Ministry starting up.)

We started the day by going to Starbucks:

258I got my fave: a Caramel Macchiato. We decided to take my mom a coffee and visit her at school (she's a Pre-K teacher). It was a nice surprise for her! Her class is crazy, I really don't know how she does what she does everyday! Her kids are wide open 24/7...

When we left there, we decided to get lunch at a hometown place called the Goodie Gallery.

They are famous around town for their chicken salad and their cheesecake, but they have really good sandwiches and other baked goods too! You can read my review here.

I had to go to work right after that, and we were SLAMMED all day! It was the deadline for signups and everyone waited until the last minute apparently. I didn't stop working until I clocked out at 5:30.Then it was time to get dressed to go to Decatur with some friends to a concert.

We stopped at Steak n Shake on the way:

I got the Frisco Melt, but I only ate half! I love their little match stick fries.

Of course, we all got shakes! I got Birthday Cake, which is my go to at any restaurant that offers it. I love sprinkles!

After we ate, we headed to Eddie's Attic. You can read my review of the venue here.
